The objective of Family Violence Recovery Groups for women and children is to provide a safe, supportive space for participants to connect and experience collective empowerment in a group setting. The power of validation is important in the healing process, so providing participants the opportunity to share their experiences, fortifies a survivor’s self-identity, and reinstates their voice.
