Counselling and Wellbeing Groups

If you or a loved one requires support from Doncare, we invite you to fill out our online form. You can read about our low-cost counselling fees and counselling appointments right here on our website. Alternatively, email intake@doncare.org.au.

Family Violence Recovery

For Specialist Family Violence Counselling, you can make a self-referral, or an agency can make a referral on your behalf using our online Request for Counselling form. If you would like more information on the DAWN Mentoring program for women, please email dawn@doncare.org.au

Emergency Relief

If you’re experiencing financial hardship or need urgent support, we’re here to help you access food, essential items and practical assistance. Call 9856 1500 to make an appointment with one of our Community Support Workers.

For Family Violence Support

If you are experiencing or recovering from family violence, we provide trauma-informed support and recovery programs. If you are in immediate danger, call 000.

Partnering with Services to Support Clients

Doncare works in partnership with police, courts, schools, health services and community organisations to support individuals and families experiencing vulnerability.

Submit Referral

Intake & Risk Assessment

A practitioner gathers information, assesses risk, and determines the client’s support needs.

Service Matching

The client is matched with the most appropriate service, based on their circumstances and level of need.

Referral & Engagement

Referrals are directed to the relevant program, with follow-up to support engagement.
