As a not for profit organisation,
Doncare receives funding from Manningham
City Council and the State and
Commonwealth governments to run its
major programs. Additionally we receive
donations from the general public and
various philanthropic trusts and
businesses.
New Initiative for Doncare
Barry
Plant East Doncaster Proud Supporters of Doncare
As part of a new partnership between
Barry Plant East Doncaster and Doncare,
Barry Plant will donate $250 for every
successful sale that is referred through
Doncare and $150 for every rental
management for one year. A recent

What does my Donation or Bequest
support?
Donations of money, goods and
services to Doncare are used to support
programs such as:
If you would like to make a donation,
please download the pledge form
here and follow the instructions on
the form.
Emergency Relief in the
form of food and vouchers;
The Back to School program where
school supplies are provided to
disadvantaged children at the beginning
of the year;
The Joining In program
where funds are provided to enable
children living in unusual disadvantage
to participate in activities that are
considered normal and accessible for
their peer group;
The Pensioner Fund to
support pensioners with everyday
expenses such as household bills,
pharmaceutical expenses, transport costs
etc;
The Dorothy Rose Fund
aims to improve the quality of life for
women recovering from domestic violence
through financial and practical support;
Social Support which
provides groups and outings to reduce
the isolation of elderly citizens;
Family Support Services
with a range of services for families
experiencing difficulties; and
A low cost Counselling
service.
Winter Warmth
Campaign will help to subsidise
struggling pensioners living in
Manningham with their utility bills. A

OPPORTUNITY SHOPS
Donations of good quality items or
factory seconds can be made to our
Opportunity Shops. Please contact the
North Blackburn shop for the collection
of larger items.
The funds raised through the Op Shops
fund various Doncare programs. Clients are also referred to
the shops for clothing, household goods
and furniture.
