The four main services
offered by Doncare are:
- Counselling
We offer a wide range of counselling services
for individuals, families and couples to assist with issues
including relationship issues, parenting difficulties, depression,
anxiety and the impact of family violence.
- Information &
Practical Support
We offer support to individuals and families
of Manningham through financial assistance including food
vouchers, assistance with prescriptions, a contribution towards
utility accounts, Telstra vouchers, travel assistance and
referrals for clothing and furniture.
- Family Services
We offer in-home support services with (mainly)
young children; we co-ordinate a Chinese family playgroup; provide opportunities
for families to develop their parenting skills and support
women who have experienced family violence.
- Social Support
We encourage elderly people to participate
in social support programs which provide opportunities for
socialising, building friendship networks, reducing social
isolation and enhancing community wellbeing
