The DAWN Project

DAWN (Doncare Angels for Women Network) is a new pilot project that links volunteers to women recovering from the impact of domestic violence. Funded by the Federal Office for Women and based on a ‘big sister’ model, volunteers act as mentors and companions by assisting women with everyday activities and by providing them with emotional support for up to twelve months.
