Where does the money go?
Doncare’s five Opportunity Shops,
through the sale of recycled goods to the public,
directly fund services to help the most disadvantaged
members of the Manningham community. Doncare programs
support local residents from the cradle to the grave,
assisting:
·
families with babies or young children
experiencing parenting difficulties,
·
low-income families with financial
difficulties,
·
isolated elderly residents,
·
individuals needing counselling, and
·
women who have experienced family
violence.
Doncare’s Opportunity Shops are
located in Blackburn North, Doncaster East, Lower
Templestowe, Templestowe and Forest Hill. For contact
details, please click here.
Our Shops are staffed
entirely by volunteers and the success of our Shops is
due to the tireless efforts of this dedicated team of
over 250 volunteers who willingly donate their time and
energy to work in the Shops each week.
