• Volunteer Christmas Party 2006
  Around 200 volunteers and Doncare staff celebrated Christmas with afternoon tea accompanied by Christmas Carols on Friday 1 December at the East Doncaster Senior Citizens Centre.
• Brentford Square Op Shop Opening 2006
  Brentford Square Op Shop was officially opened on Wednesday 24 May 2006. President Jean Cook cut the ribbon as volunteers and guests raised their cups of tea.
• Volunteer Afternoon Tea 2006
  Doncare celebrated Volunteer Week with a 'High Tea' at Manningham City Council on Friday 19 May 2006. One hundred and seventy volunteers and guests enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea and a performance by the Warrandyte Seniors High Steppers.
• Menzies Australia Day Awards 2006
  Four Doncare volunteers received a Menzies Australia Day Award at a ceremony on 26 January 2006. These were Carol Wilson, CIW, Kitty Dawes, Templestowe Op Shop and Shirley Monahan, Social Support Program. Sue Cahill, Board member, also received an Award through Manningham Promoting Character Inc.
• Good Beginnings Macquarie Bank Ironbark Award 2005
  Jan Shipp, Doncare volunteer Community Parent, received the Good Beginnings Macquarie Bank Ironbark Award on 23 August 2005 in Sydney.
• Friday 13th Trivia Night and Auction
  Around 160 guests played games and bid for fabulous bargains at the Doncare Friday 13th Trivia Night and Auction held in May 2005.
• Volunteer Breakfast
  A breakfast was held at Schramms Reserve to thank our volunteers and celebrate National volunteers week on 5 May 2005.
