Robyn
Healy
Vice President
Robyn grew up in country Victoria moving
to the city to undertake tertiary
studies. With no demand for Technology
professionals in country Victoria,
Melbourne became home. Robyn moved into
the Manningham area 5 years ago after
meeting her now husband David.
Robyn has worked predominately in the
Financial Services sector. Holding a MBA,
she primarily works in change management
and business transformation roles.
Robyn’s pastimes include renovating,
gardening and travelling. Seeking a more
realigned corporate versus community
focus Robyn is keen to fill a desire to
give something back to the community and
joined the Doncare Board in 2010.

Therese Tankey
Secretary
Therese has worked and
volunteered in the Community sector for the past 20 years and
is currently working as the
Education & Marketing
Coordinator at Park Orchards
Learning Centre. She has an
extensive understanding of
Community organisations and
Community work. Therese has
worked on many special projects
working with key stakeholders
including Local Council, ACFE
(Adult & Community Further
Education) and with the
Department of Planning and
Community Development. She also
holds relevant qualifications
including a Postgraduate Diploma
in Education (Leadership, Policy
& Change), Diploma in Business
Management and a Certificate IV
in Training and Assessment.

Des Galgut
Treasurer
Des is a qualified accountant
and runs a professional
accounting practice in Mulgrave,
whilst living in Doncaster
East. He has over 30 years
experience in the accounting
profession and assists many
small to medium businesses and
their owners with all aspects of
their business and personal
financial affairs.
Des is involved with a number of
charitable pursuits and has a
keen sense of community. He is
married with two adult children.

Ron Kitchingman
Ron has lived in East Doncaster
for 47 years. He is married to
Beth, and they have a grown up
family of 4 daughters and 7
grandchildren. Ron has retired
but continues his community
interests. He first became
involved with the establishment
of a new kindergarten at
Beverley Hills and continued his
interest by being a committee
member of the schools that his
daughters attended.
Ron has held many positions with
Manningham organizations,
including the Manningham Centre
and Manningham Recreation
Association. He has also been a
Councillor for Manningham for
two terms, and Mayor on two
occasions. He has stated that he
is impressed by the service
provided to Manningham by
Doncare.

 Elizabeth Lucas
Being a Director for more than
25 years, Elizabeth has seen
Doncare grow and develop into
the dynamic organisation it is
today. She has represented
Doncare in a variety of ways, as
President, statistician,
delegate to Community
Information Victoria and member
of several Council committees
that resulted in the Doncare
Youth Outreach program and
Emergency Youth Housing in
Manningham. The last two became
the former Manningham Youth and Family
Services.
Elizabeth believes in “community
helping community” and that
volunteering in the community is
the best way to meet people and
make friends. Elizabeth is a
pharmacist and her favourite
pastimes are family, travel and
gardening.

Sue Cahill
Sue Cahill is Student Wellbeing
Co-ordinator at St. Charles
Borromeo Primary school in
Templestowe. Sue chaired the
former Manningham Youth and Family
Services Board, is a member of
the Catholic Aids Ministry
Committee of Management, is on
the School Focused Youth
Services reference group and the
Supporting Kids in Primary
Schools reference group. Sue is
married and has three daughters
and one grandson.

Robyn
Reeves
Robyn has resided in Manningham for 26
years. She has been involved with
various schools and associations over
this time and has served on The Kevin
Heinze Garden Centre Committee and the
Heatherwood School Council.
Robyn currently sits on the Manningham
Charitable Trust Panel and has assisted
the Manningham City Council Major Grants
Panel with grant allocations. She also
assists the Manningham Bendigo Bank
Community Enterprise Foundation assess
funding applications from local
charitable organisations.
She has recently retired from her 14
year role as the Liaison Officer of one
of Victoria’s major philanthropic
foundations. This role, along with
having a child with a disability
herself, has given her a deep
understanding of the needs of the
disadvantaged within our community.
